      Mens Modern Dance Shoe 305

      Shoe Size

      Mens Modern Dance Shoe 305

Gents Modern Derby style dance shoe

The dance shoe is a lace up with 5 eyelets. It is finished in two tone patent and suede with the patent extending from the instep around the front vamp area to the outside of the shoe. The suede meets the patent along a double stitched seam and covers the upper vamp extending around the heel area. The dance shoe has a one inch heel and is finished in the same patent as the front vamp area

A pair of shoes weighs less than 0.5KG (1lb) and is therefore light enough to allow flexibility of movement on the dance floor. However, the dance shoes are strong enough to offer support which is lacking in day wear shoes. The dance shoes are durable and made to last and can be used in various dance scenes including social dancing, modern jive, ballroom, tango and salsa

The sole and underside of heel are finished in black suede and the black insole is padded to provide additional comfort

Dance Shoe Care – Hints & Tips

Dance shoes must fit snugly without hurting so you maintain proper balance on the dance floor. If your feet move easily inside the shoes, you cannot properly control your balance or your dance posture. The toes should be as close to the end of the shoes as is possible without actually rubbing. If your feet are allowed to move inside the shoes the faster the shoes will stretch, become misshapen and wear out. It is therefore advisable to use a pair of foam inner soles if you feel any movement inside the shoes..

Brush the suede soles of your shoes to keep them free of wax and dirt build-up from the dance floors. The wax causes soles to wear faster, since dirt particles cling to the wax and then grind into soft suede soles, causing them to wear away.

Use a silicon oil or polish to keep patent shoes from sticking and cracking.

NEVER WEAR YOUR DANCE SHOES OUTSIDE
